Re:Zero season 2 part 1, Subaru returns to Crusch’s manor with Emilia after the battle with the Witch Cult, only to discover that everyone, except him, has completely forgotten Rem’s existence due to an attack by the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, Lye Batenkaitos, who devoured her memories; this leaves Rem in a coma and Subaru desperately trying to find a way to restore her, even if it means using his “Return by Death” ability to go back in time and prevent the tragedy from happening
